After the consultation, you'll be given all the information you need to take home and carefully consider whether the treatment is the right choice for you.
On the day of your first treatment, you'll be comfortably settled into a private treatment room for a gentle, three-step procedure:
A topical anaesthetic cream will be applied approximately 30 minutes before your treatment to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.
Once the anaesthetic has taken effect, your treatment area will be carefully cleansed.
Injection process: Dr. Xavier will then make very small, precise injections of NewGyn™ into the targeted areas of the vulva. The entire treatment will typically last around 10-15 minutes. To ensure your comfort, a female team member will also be present during the procedure.
You can go about your day as usual after the treatment, though many women prefer to take some
time to relax for a few hours. It's normal to experience minor side effects at the injection
sites, such as slight marks, swelling, or bruising, but these are temporary and should resolve
within a day or two.
To ensure the best results, we recommend avoiding sexual intercourse for at least 48 hours.
Most patients require a series of treatments for optimal results, with the best outcomes
typically seen after 3-5 treatments spaced three weeks apart.
